seven days leaven is not found in your houses, for any [ one] eating anything fermented—that person hath been cut off from the company of Israel, among the sojourners or among the natives of the land;

King James Bible
Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
